Have to admit a fondness for KLF, not just because Bill Drummond was a couple of years below me at school, but he and Jim Cauty made some cracking good early hip-hop inspired electronica, and were a cracking good stage spectacle. And the mad feckers burned a real genuine £1m when a million was worth a million, on the island of Jura in 1994, which was all that was left of a fortune they'd made over the past five years with some very successful releases. They filmed the burning and took the film on tour with the plan to earn the 'loss' back in ticket sales - d'uh, No! Bill has since admitted it was a mad mistake and one he still has difficulty explaining to his kids. Anyway this is often the ring tone on my phone, a truly inspired mix of electronica, dance, hip-hop and country.

    Sorry mate
I love live music and thought Budgie were better on stage than Rush
Rush to me was more like a light show with special effects and weird sounds  Budgie?...they just rocked
    Pink Floyd.....meh:confused:
Never seen them but went to see Australian Pink Floyd and they were even worse with bloody fancy sound effects  walked out when it sounded like whale music and told the lads I was with they could find me in the bar after the show :p
So I reckon I had a better night than them :) I made some new friends that night called Jack and Daniel:eek: the rest is history....most of which I don’t remember :p

This is the finest version of this, I think JJ Cale wrote it then Clapton did it, Then Skynyd done done it good.
It starts to fly about 3.00,

I really like some JJ Cale tracks...

This band is one I stick on wheN fed up with hearing same ole bullshit playlist on local radio, and yes I know they get them same treatment with Golden Brown... but some of their tracks are raw, gutsy and a right racket

    Hi
Some great music in this thread. Not sure if I would put all on a ride playlist but still I got to know some new bands over the last days skimming thrugh it.
    Thxs all the contributors!

Here is my little add for today... Some crazy trash-rock&roll and for sure in my list for the Bonnie ride.

Enjoy the great sound of...Power Solo - Boom Babba Do Ba Dabba
