    They play that version at the start of the Chicago Marathon. It's quite a scene with thousands of runners bopping along to the song.

    I listen quite frequently in-helmet and like Springsteen a lot. I was an avid runner in the running boom during the late 70's & 80's and "Born to Run" was a prerace anthem.

    This thread has been a bit quite lately.

    Burt Bacharach passed away recently (8 Feb). A prolific songwriter of the latter half of the 20th Century, he wrote many hits along with Hal David. The following was written for initially for Dionne Warwick back in 1964, but was covered by many, including
