Cheers Neil man (Havit)! I'll have to run her in so it's a good excuse for not going too fast from the start. I'm slightly worried about the size and weight if I'm honest - I'm a big enough bloke but haven't had a bike of this size before. My only accident - barring clipping the offside kerb on my Cagiva Canyon after a stupid overtaking manoeuvre approaching a junction (by me) many years ago - was a 1mph drop in the works car park. The embarrassment has haunted me ever since! Hopefully I've learned my lesson from that one! Actually, this isn't strictly true. I crashed my dad's old MZ 125 into a traffic island whilst trying to carry a takeaway curry in my mouth, with the bag hanging over the chin bar. I hit a bump and the bag pulled me lid over my eyes and I rode straight into a traffic island at the back of South Yorks police headquarters. I stuffed the knackered bike up a back alley and went round to a mates to eat the curry (I think I was over the limit at the time. ) This was a looong time ago and I am well ashamed of myself for that behaviour. The next morning I went to get the bike (it started and I rode it home even though the bars were about 45 degrees to the front wheel!) A police motorcyclist came down the alley from the HQ as I was starting the bike and didn't say a word. Bizarre! Anyway, I'm older and wiser now. Sorry - gone a bit off-topic there.
Dozers Dad, I have just been introduced to 'Dora The Explorer' the TV model (so to speak!) I didn't cotton on to your comment at first - now I see! I can't use Dora now though, it's too common! Ha Ha! gonna stick with Nora I think, or ELEANORA! if she annoys me (which hopefully won't be often!). Almost there now - took longer to get ready than I was expecting. 2 more sleeps though and pick her up Saturday morning! I could have got her tomorrow but got to work and no escape! Pfft! They're just fitting a couple of aftermarket bits for me. Pic sent by the dealer to me today. Very excited now!
