Also a big fan of the GT air, got one to replace my XR1000 just after the GT air was released, best helmet I have owned, internal visor is great and it is pretty quiet too. I doubt you will be disappointed.

    Thread resurrected.

Love the GT Air, but my complaint was the lack of the ability to open the visor a small crack, just to help keep cool. Said this on another thread, but not sure where. Other than that, it's quiet, comfy and chin bar is far enough away to fit my luxurious beard into:p

Well, here's the reason for the Resurrection (not just cos Easter is coming), but that someone as Shoei actually listens to customer feedback-

Well done Shoei, would have been better to get it right first time, but at least its done. Now just need to find £400 for a new one, but probably just stick to my old one.

Plastic binder clip for paper, 40mm length, bit of felt stuck to it, works great. If it rains, just slip off and put in her pocket.

Well, I did buy a GT air at the Hastings May Day run in 2017... very pleased, but..
Totally agree not the vent position
But even more annoying is the visor is so stiff the pinlock visor detaches where it is opened and the the seal is gone
