It must have been awesome to just get out and do something normal again @Sandi T. . That place looked super fun too and with good food and a great atmosphere. I’ve never heard of a Reuben Sandwich either, sounds delicious.

Sounds like a perfect way to remain safe while doing normal things with friends & neighbours Sandi. You are not helping with my burger cravings though! :yum

Does this help, Billy?? :joy: I was planning to cook tonight (a fairly rare occurrence these days) but Mr. Sandi and I may need to celebrate the national holiday with a burger from ZinBurger. ;) And little did I know that May is National Burger MONTH! Who knew?? I suspect that in this case that "national" extends to the UK also.

Looks like you had a great time. And it's nice to see our favourite girl enjoying herself again. And the story its self is a classic Sandi T one. Great to have you back and happy.
    Love you lots

Looks like a great place. Did you take the 'Stang. I am sure you could get a rise out of that Vette pilot. A grand stage for all things on wheels. Reminds me of the "Blue Top" drive-in I used to cruise with my '74 Triumph. Lots of good guys with hot rods. Enjoy..

Thanks, Joe! Yes, Steve and I had a terrific time. It was so nice to be out of the house doing something "nonessential". Though having a nice evening out is feeling more and more essential these days. Glad you enjoyed the photos and "date night" story. Love you too! xo Hugs to Tracy. One of these days we shall all meet in person. :)

It's a very fun place, Hobnail! This was only the second time we've been there--the first was for a car show several years back. But we'll definitely go back based on what a nice evening it was and what a great job the staff did of making us all feel welcome and relaxed in spite of all the COVID concerns and precautions. Nope, we didn't take the Bullitt. Prior to heading to Little Anthony's we had a work-related obligation to attend which entailed the possibility of having to drive in a grass field so we took the Ford pickup instead. But, yes, the 'Stang would have fit in well...and we could have parked right next to the Vett! ;) The Blue Top drive-in sounds like it was good fun, too! :grinning:

Billy, your burger cravings along with today being National Burger Day served as the impetus for this evening's meal choice. We ordered ZinBurger's special--two burgers with a bag of waffle fries (chips?), sweet potato fries, and onion rings, and a big wedge salad. My burger was topped with Manchego cheese and caramelized onions and I accompanied it with a frosty Firestone Walker IPA. :yum It wouldn't be very patriotic if we didn't observe National Burger Day. ;) Any excuse to celebrate!

Yes, @Don the Don, Arizona does have some terrific food. :yum We have the advantage of being in the Southwest and near Mexico so we get food influences from Mexico, California, New Mexico, and Texas. And we have everything from food trucks on the corner with blackboard menus in Spanish to high falutin' fancy pants restaurants for special occasions. Mr. Sandi and I hoping and keeping our fingers crossed that not too many of them go out of business through the shut downs and (now) slow downs as everyone navigates what it looks like to work at or patronize a restaurant during a pandemic.

What, Don? Hold the pickle! Sacrilege! :joy:
