Please send me a case over here, purely for medicinal purposes and to check for quality.

Anyway here’s what I was going to write yesterday till we got involved with animal cruelty.

MotoGP was at Philip Island Australia yesterday and all 3 races were action packed and exciting, but yet the BBC never ever reports on it. All they show is football (yawn, yawn), cricket, rugby and other such boring games. Why is motorbike racing never mentioned in sport reports during news programs.

Makes me want to throw up to think I offered to help you with your throttle grip bolts a while back after I read that. Consider any further offers of help firmly withdrawn. Enough comments about you have already been posted, I don’t see the need to add any more, I think you will have gauged the forums’ opinion of you now.

My working suspicion is that inside the publicly funded gilded bubble of the socially just BBC .......bikers are regarded as dangerously independent minded types who are not social justice warriors but rather some blue collar chapter of Thatcherites. They may be right!

    It’s a minority interest.....like showjumping?

The major problem is that the Beeb and the way it is run and funded is a complete anachronism in 21C broadcasting.....or streaming! It is relatively unresponsive to external opinion and commercial pressures being more like a State bureaucracy with its own agenda. They are only short of money to do what THEY want to do and you sense that London based corporate freebies like Wimbledon attract money much as the Olympics justified planeloads to Brazil. I could bang on!

I've still not tried horse. Many times i've been in a french supermarket and looked at a piece of horse fillet and thought about it. But my wife has said "no" so I've given it a miss. Maybe next time i'll go for it although you don't see it much these days.

Wait a while, someone will be along with some sort of comment to take the fun out of it. Not me though, good on you, a few of us are just waiting for the official date for Assen MotoGP 2019 before booking our tickets for Newcastle to Ijmuiden.

Oh the chances are you have as a ‘top up’ in various Continental sausages!

Used to be common enough for cavalry to fry up horse steaks from equine casualties in their breast plates (cuirasses)!

Yeah, well... I know. But it was so spooky that I only got round to watching it the day before you told everyone the ending. What are the odds on that?

And did you walk in your unfortunate neighbours shoes, who maybe, like you needed the company of those cats, I guess not, I don't think anyone is judging you, pity you, yes.

Well said Sir. I find the "English to be very touchy about animals.
I seem to remember in the IOM, a rider died after a collision with a horse, the people were more worried about the condition of the horse.

Nobody knows what dark places we go to when the world has abandoned you. My Madam (Yorkie) was with me for 22 years and got me through everything, trust me I know were you are coming from. And as a bachelor its even harder on your own. You will get there, its a long journey but if you need encouragement, ASK. Me I've got stage 3 cancer and I know deep down my time is up on this earth, would I change anything about my life, NO. People are people, you just have to take the good with the bad, finding out which is which is the hardest problem. Hamba kahle. It means go well.
