Dare you to bring them up to deepest, blackest, wickediest Yorkshire where Pagan rites are still the norm.
Oh and the odd Shannon Matthews kidnapping thrown in for good measure.

If I pop up to M&S tomorrow they will be selling them off cheap, it's a practice I derive so much pleasure from.
Easter eggs, Christmas chocolates, Mother's Day, Valentines etc.
Pig out for a fraction of the cost after the event, I've got a loft full!

I think our thoughts of modern day police being revenue collectors not law enforcers has been confirmed today. " penalties for using mobile phones behind the wheel have increased to 6 points and the minimum fine up to £200!" So does it make it any worse a crime than before? No! But the met police are putting on extra patrols to combat it!
Thinks to himself " what's changed? It's not a new phenomenon! No more dangerous than before! So what's changed? "Answer behind a pound sign!

Because it's a new Home Office priority, because it's feckin' dangerous and was not being taken sufficiently seriously in the past.

The mention of Diane Abbott is normally enough to stop me reading any article she is associated with.
A pumpkin headed chip on the shoulder nasty piece of work, I can't stand her!
I do actually watch her on Question time where she regularly explodes with such venom she can barely control herself, steam visibly coming out of her big head.
Has an affair with Corbyn and goes round and threatens his lovely wife, nasty bitch through and through.
She missed the first Brexit commons vote the other week with a 'migraine' what did they have to give her for it a big F***ing elephant pill ? lol

Read the piece. Feck all to do with Diane Abbott. It's about the criminal under-resourcing of the Police ffs.

    Now here's revenue collecting

Just two of the cameras in my dear home town on roads that were fine before but now once there a motorist has no way out other than going through the camera. Nearly 3 million a year from these 2 cameras alone and the council still cant run the city properly. Only consolation is the Toons top of the premier league in something !

There I was enjoying a nice late breakfast when those two nasty words came up, "abbot" and "dianne". Proper spoiled my day now that has. I want to put my foot through the telly every time that fat ugly racist face appears, I really detest that woman !

Looby Loo doesn't do politics and is completely indifferent. Teddy on the other hand, well, Teddy has a very dark side shall we say. I can't say on this forum what Teddy would like to do to Dianne Abbot. Not only would I get banned from this forum but my comments would probably get picked up by GCHQ and I would most likely never be heard of again.

    Rich,
There is a quotation from Diane 'football head' Abbott at the end of the article.

The company I work for won't even let you use the hands free device fitted in the company vehicle. But they still phone you when they know damn well that you are on the road. They have a live tracker ( they like to call it telemetry device) so have no excuse:mad::mad:.

Here's an anecdote that puts this in to perspective and maybe answers why bike crime isn't quite the priority we'd like it to be.

Beds Police have received an overall 'inadequate' assessment from HMIoC. Good work but too little of it. Under-staffing a significant problem. Just as the Watchdog warned.

Beds is classed as a rural force and funded as such. Beds police have to man the very busy London Luton Airport, which stretches resources especially with the current focus on border security. All other major and metropolitan airports have their own police department, not Luton because it's not actually in Greater London. And Beds police have to staff Luton Town home matches, which means the rest of the county is then on skeleton staffing pretty much once a week during the season.

#1 daughter is a DC in the Beds CAVAAIT (child and vulnerable adult abuse investigation team). As a result of the report, yesterday she was called in from a day's holiday with half an hour notice. Her department along with others have to audit all recent cases. They've been given a list of questions to be answered but no template for the reports, so work it out yourselves. Each audit has been allocated three hours to complete. Yesterday they managed to complete one in tens hours. And #1 daughter is an extremely bright graduate with outstanding analytical and report writing skills. She is too modest to say it, bit I bet she was pulling her team along behind her, and without her they'd probably still be working on the first one.

Why can't civilian auditors do the work? It's too urgent. The bosses need it now.

There are 32 more cases to be audited. Maybe 10 full working days for a full team. Depressing or what, and on your days off, even if on pay? She has now point blank refused to do this on her days off, and who can blame her. She should be out there bringing justice to victims and ensuring innocent-accused get their lives back as soon as possible, not auditing old case work to see if all the correct procedures were followed at every step.

'kin bureaucracy, managing by the numbers, back-covering rather than doing what the public needs and pays for. Makes me mad.
