Someone on the next estate to ours decided to have a FECKIN FIREWORK DISPLAY last night

proper light up the sky and wake half of Washington up like Feckin new year’s eve
Went on for about 20 feckin minutes

 

fucking covid once more its men that have to suffer not woman no more restaurants, pubs, football. while woman carry on as normal, cleaning, washing dishes, ironing, tidying up and whinging

Well I posted my wife and my daughter on that thread, both with guns... so that confirms it as 'family friendly'!

My rant of the day today? "I'm a Z list nobody, get me out of here" is about to commence...….again..

OK, I've never been a fan of this show and apparently this year is its 20th series, so somebody must like it, but WTF We are in a lockdown situation (here in England anyway) not 100% sure about the situation in Wales. Yet this is apparently going ahead, 10 people plus the Geordie Hobbits and a film crew in an old castle, social distancing at its best no doubt. Now call me a cynic, but this show must make an awful lot of money for the production company or it would have been cancelled. When one of the hobbits was 'drying out' a year or two back, they still didn't cancel it, so it must generate a shit load of cash they can't afford to lose. Money before safety? Make up your own mind.

 

These type of show's pander to the moronic elements in society it keeps them amused like throwing a banana to a chimp only the chimp has more brain cells.

 

Only they can't see anything wrong with this picture.

Was that really necessary?

 

While the piper was clearly set up to challenge the Police line the reactions of the officers was utter shit! I would have them up on discipline for that one. They should have held him and not pushed him, by pushing him they reacted badly and, if he had been badly hurt, just a bang to the head would suffice, there would have been some serious ammunition provided to the growing disdain for Covid restrictions. I would love to have seen what the reaction would have been if he had been black or Asian though.

No it wasn’t. The arsehole with the bagpipes didn’t have to deliberately walk into the police to get a reaction and stage a shot that he later sold.

 

I don't understand.......the guy playing the pipes is in a group representing who/what? Why did he seemingly deliberately walk into the line of police? And why are the police apparently anti veterans?

 

What I see it a piper walking parallel to the police line. What you don’t immediately see is the kerb. As the piper approaches it he appears to turn and in that moment is shoved causing him to trip backwards over the kerb. The officer maybe thought him a little close but it was unprovoked if you discount the sound of the pipes.

I very much hope the officer is called to account. A proper bollocking would cover it but Cressida’s Met is über pc so the natives (even Northern ones) are fair game.
