I’ve heard many theories including that we allowed Pearl Harbor to happen. It doesn’t matter now. How ever it happened, they awakened a sleeping, badass, f*cking giant.

My rant today: delivery drivers, most specifically Parcelforce.
You’d think as full time deliverers of parcels to the general public’s houses that they’d know what a doorbell is and how it works, but no, they just tap on the door and expect you to hear it even if you’re out in the back garden on a nice sunny day.
I’d even taken the remote bell unit out and checked it was working as I knew they were supposed to be delivering.
Now I’ve got to wait until next week, take time off work (as the collection office is only open for 2hours a day because of the pandemic) and go and collect my parcel that I’d waited in for in the first place.

Just watched the FA cup highlights, I know! It was on while I was catching up on the forum, check the times of my posts. Can someone confirm that the highlights were 20% kicking a football around, 30% goals and near misses and 50% blokes rolling around on the ground holding their faces?

Yep, had that, suffered that.......the latest is popping a note through the letter box which states that they tried to deliver but has been left at a 'drop off store' .....meaning you have to collect it. Bloody fecal accretions. Wouldn't mind normally but it's my blow up wallaby.

Didn't bother to watch it live or the highlights..... I cannot get excited about football in its current format with no fans in the stadium. It is like watch training

Meanwhile all the football excitement is at my club Oldham Athletic. It's not the football, it's how long the ninth manager in two and a half years will last. Betting is rife with the longest odds being on a sacking in November, we shall see. Harry Kewell has just been appointed as Head Coach but I still call them managers.

Try walking out of your garage to find two piles of human excrement, strategically situated at each of the doors, and two pieces of clothing used as botty swabs (taken from the local second hand clothes skip). That deserves a rant. Instead of riding as intended, spent the time cleaning up this unholy mess. I do wonder sometimes if society is on the cusp of all out anarchy. Rant? I'll kill 'em.

What the fuck??? Is this the result of a known altercation or is it a random act of civil disobedience?

    @DCS222

No known altercation (although I am a hateful c**t). It is local 'unfortunates' on drugs......just happens to be one of the first quiet dark places where they can jack up, log off and travel to the stars.

Ducks and Drake's ARE dangerous when crossing the road and you're doing 60mph.

    Rip off places ,
Now im not one to complain
But in this instance I'm going too.
Times are bad enough with this covid 19. We have all had to suffer
Hardships over it. But this takes the biscuit, FB_IMG_1596518722068.jpg
Now , surely giving the tables an extra clean shouldn't be an extra ,
Has anyone else seen this anywhere else or is it just rip off Ireland .
Having a squirt of gel at the door and a clean table is chargeable .......oh Come on .....if you walk into an establishment you should expect it to be clean anyway.
I know it's only s small fee but Are we not suffering enough?

Cheeky indeed, I don't know how they think they can get away with it... why don't they charge for Salmonella or Botulism prevention... or better still, get everone to bring in their own cleaning kit and sanitise the area they will be occupying whilst eating!

I'm going to love it if someone tries to charge me an extra Covid payment, for the privilege of me giving them my money :imp::D
