On our local news "Leicestershire farmers short of water, one lady only has water 1 hour a day"
I seem to remember that we had a very wet winter, so wet that farmers couldn't plat seed as the ground was too wet.

Lets scrap the ridiculous HS2 and instead spend less money and cause less disruption to the countryside by building a nationwide WATER distribution network ( national water grid) and keep some of the floodwater that after devastating riverside communities goes out to sea.
