Not really a rant, just a couple of questions that have irritated me slightly...
Who and why was someone filming the precise area of night sky where a missile took down a passenger jet?
It was 6am and several hours after the Iranians had stopped the missile “attack” on the airbases. So what alerted The phone holder to stop pissing in his back yard and film the event that was just about to happen.
Have I missed summat? I know that living in the safety of my own little patch of planet, I’m not switched onto the ways of a country in a more “excitable” situation... maybe there was an air raid siren or something that you don’t hear on the video.

Edit: I may have answered my own question... some of the news reports suggest there were two missiles. Only one seen in the video, so the first one fires and alerts Mr. Phone’ani during his micturition, he stops filming his knob and points to the sky where the missile was and captures the second missile hitting its target.

And this is why the NHS as an organisation will never improve :mad:
I take nothing away from the dedication and professionalism of the individuals working within the NHS but if the powers that be continue to witch hunt and hide mistakes made from the public as well as the wider NHS Trusts and then refuse to investigate professionally, implement improvements and update procedures then the system will remain broken :weary_face:
Until a Just culture replaces the Blame culture then staff will forever be looking over their shoulders and unlikely to fess up to issues and problems at work :worried::worried:

Here's my rant of the day. It chaps my as* when "someone" or some entity runs a great, long-standing, and traditional event into the ground. And just when you've come to expect and love it!!

For the past 37 years there has been an awesome motorcycle rally in Laughlin, NV called the Laughlin River Run. I've been going with Mr. Sandi and (as of the past few years) several of our our riding buddies to this rally and have grown to LOVE it. In fact, it has been one of the consistent motorcycle trip highlights of my year. Well, it's dead. D-E-A-D. And I'm pissed. The lead singer of a "house" band for the event who've we've become friends with said he'd heard that the promoter had hired some young guy who thought he should change a bunch of things. The upshot is that he--and the beloved event--lasted only several more years and he frickin' KILLED it.:p Hmmm, can you tell I'm PISSED!?!? Ok, thanks for letting me vent. It will also help me calm down if a bunch of you say how sorry your are and that you love me and totally understand how upset I am. :sob: ;)

Sorry to hear that Sandi, I can’t access the link you gave. Looks like you’ll have to set up your own “memorial rally” @Sandi T. Just you and your mates to start with...
    ;)

    Build it...

It's always rubbish when things we love disappear, me and my son used to regularly go to an annual, summer motorcycle show at Beaulieu motor museum, all set in the grounds of an old stately home, it used to be brilliant, lot's of celebs and so much to see and do, the last time we ever went was a dreadful weekend of heavy rain, apparently they lost so much money that it was never held again :relieved:, so, I totally understand how you're feeling about the loss of the rally

Thanks for all you wonderful forum friends that gave me a "Love You" emoji and responded to my post and my disappointment and pissed-off-ness over the death of my beloved Laughlin River Run. :) I appreciate your understanding and support. And I really do feel better now! @DCS222, yes, a memorial run with our rally buddies is a great idea! @chiari1, so is a good drink. ;) I love you guys!! As @Duckadiledundee said, "in a non gay totally appreciative kinda way". :kissing_heart: :joy:

I'm surprised he did not pull the "Do you know who I am" phrase, I usually reply to that with " No but I know what you are".
