Well that's you holier than a lot of people then. I very much doubt that Cal reads it either but like the rest of us he sees the headlines when he's in the supermarkets or wherever else it's stacked up.

I genuinely don't read the express and couldn't tell you any headlines from it. I can also see the hook in that bait he left.

I read highbrow to cornflake packets. The Daily Express is amusing but ain’t no journal of record!! It is an icon on my iPad. Of course I read it. I barely believe a word of it. Most of the time you can rely on the date at the top.

On a serious note with the sad news of a body being found in the river at Newhaven how many (men) are aware of the risks of peeing into water?

I make no assumptions about the tragic case reported but I had my eyes opened many years ago with the military and German police in Berlin in similar circumstances. Apparently it is VERY common and yet decency amidst the tragedy means it is little known outside those who effect the recovery and understandably it just isn’t talked about. Maybe it should be. Just like vertigo you need visual references to maintain balance. Throw in alcohol......

Ahh now i never thought of that, students on the way home from a night out and falling in the river and drowning in Bath and in the docks in Bristol happens more than once a year and always makes the news. They have special initiatives for it, i wonder if this is mentioned ...

I doubt it. But you can imagine how the circumstances are made obvious ....

Why do I have the feeling that you don’t sport a “man-bun”?

Nope after police hauling her off to comcare the local government funded mental health facilities, she was held or waited for a couple of hours, they let her go because they had no access to her mental health records. Left the safety of the garage to go into the house to use the bathroom a few hours later and there she was just as crazy as ever, no contact from the police, that she had been released, or if I wanted any charges pressed against her or even a restraining order. If she would have been a man, and assualted the spouse the way she did it would be a whole different story. My sanity is getting stressed after about 9 years of this shit, a spirited ride or drive seems to help because DILLIGAF for me, with due respect for others, except LAWYERS.

What??! Your mental health system sounds even worse than that of Arizona, phred. Why did they not have access to her mental health records? Holy moly, I hope one way or another if things improve for you. I'm sorry to read how messed up this all is.

They don't want to know. Ask no questions and it's not a problem. Just put them in the Greyhound Bus treatment program. This has been going on since the 80's. Just put them on a greyhound bus to be served by another states agency for a while. CA to NV, NV to AZ, AZ to NM, NM to TX, TX to OK, OK to KS. A mental health provider I personally knew would go to the bus station every night to pick them up take them to the local physc ward for A week if they didn't respond to free treatment in A week, it was a bus ticket back to NV.. greyhound system is now severly limited so now they are just the homeless.

That’s awful phred... I really feel for you, but I’m helpless to offer advice or support other than wishing you well. You’re absolutely correct about reversed roles though, they’d jump on you like a sack of shit...

What they forgot, is that even an eight year old has a better grasp of basic maths than Dianne Abbot.

BBC yesterday peddling a 'story' about this woman who couldn't get a haircut done on the cheap and turned it into a rant about how sexist the hairdressing industry is.
The opened a 'have your say' but quickly got bored with censoring all the replies shooting the shoddy journalism and bias down in flames and closed the 'have your say' off when it failed to support the blatant prejudice and logical flaws in the article.

This is why the licence fee needs to be abolished and the BBC needs to be Self funded rather than the prejudiced luvvies lining their pockets at everyone else's expense.

The backbone of the nation will then be ex squaddies and bikers who hold onto their values and are too bloody-minded to be indoctrinated in the ways of snowflakery.
