Cheers mate I'll try & give it a go. To be honest I rarely take photo's- I just thought some forum members might be interested, especially from overseas who may not realise there are so many crash sites in the Peak District. I went to another today- a Handley Page Hampden that crashed in '42 at Cluther Rocks. 4 young lads killed, 3xRAF, 1xRAAF. There are so many both interesting and tragic stories behind every crash, so I hope anyone who's interested focuses on that rather than my crappy pics.

Took a photo of this weird meringue shaped rock on my first road trip to the States. can't remember where it was but either Arizona, Nevada or Utah. Maybe some of our American cousins will know where it is?

Gorgeous picture, Dougie! And it looks vaguely familiar. But saying it was in Arizona, Nevada, or Utah doesn't narrow it down much. Those three state have a combined area of 309,464 square miles! That said, now I'm quite curious and feel compelled to find out where this is. Unless another American on here knows where it is....which would be lovely. ;):)

What’s Google Lens, Vulpes?? And how do you use it? I was thinking there must be some way to have a photo and figure out where it was taken or what it is.

It's an app on my phone Sandi. You select the image you want to find out more about, tap on it and select Google Lens from a menu. It then tries to give more info on it.

This healthy looking roadrunner let me get quite close yesterday while I was out on my morning walk. He was with another (mate, perhaps?) but I couldn't manage to get them both in one picture.

And on my walk the previous day this hawk came zooming by me and posed in a nearby tree. When I got just a bit too close, he took flight and swooped past me again but this time only a few feet away!
