Begun installation this evening. I have a couple of questions whilst I have the bike appart, hoping you lads might be able to point me in the right direction to save me some time tomorrow evening!

Firstly, Ive got the tank off, but the air box is next, is there a guide for removing this? I need this off to gain access to the throttle control servo.

Next, the evaporation canister, this sits just under the air box, above the engine.
Ive removed this on my last 2 bikes as it does fuck all other than pump petrol fuems back into the engine rather than atmosphere. Has anyone else removed it on this bike, is there a guide? I will work it out and post one myself if not, just the time it will take is frustrating. :)

What’s the update all about? I looked on the HM site and can’t find anything new.

Thats the one I have been sent.

    however, it doesnt fit. YET!

Simple issue, the break out loom wires are too short! I will call tomorrow and have a longer version made up to suit the speedy. :)

Looks awesome. The main unit is different, as you plug straight into it but don’t know if there are any performance upgrades.

hello the V2 does not have the HMSS, it's who made me hesitate, the V3 has it.
The advantage of the HMSS is that it corrects the kill time in real time,
I think that one of the biggest problem of the OEM is the management of the ECU which is not good...
That is why at full load the shifter is violent while half charge it goes alone, when the use of the blipper, after consulting a lot of things the top, it takes for optimal use braked at the same time to relieve

PS: thanks to Google Translate (or not) XD

I didn’t know V2 didn’t have HMSS. Yes kill times is definitely the issue with the OEM unit, as well as a mechanical mechanism in the quickshifter itself.

Great news, extension lead is being manufactured and will be with me shortly.

One thing lads, If you want to actually fit this thing....

Its tank off, air box off. As noted in the HM instructions 'difficulty' if you cant change your plugs, you can't do this job. I would be interested to know how many people would be happy tearing down their brand new, £13,600 motorcycle on their own to this level....

I love working on my bike, almost as much as riding it. That looks like a lot of fun for sure. I’m quite interested in seeing how the auto warm up works, a beneficial feature and added bonus of the pro option. It looks like you got the V3 with HMSS. Is it the pro version?
