My mate who's a MOT tester has exactly the same set up on his 'hand built' cafe racer. He has been pulled numerous times and simply pulls out a copy of the MOT testers guide lines on number plate's. Theres so much ambiguity in the regulations he's never been done.

........well, the accumulated brownie points got me the factory heated grips for Christmas......fabulous addition to the bike, IMO every bike from new should, by law, have them fitted.....but sadly they never stretched to the fly screen......

......but then I spotted that Forum member Mach 1 had a flyscreen going cheap off of his new T120 he did not want......after contacting him he actually sent me the screen and brackets for free, said nobody was interested in buying it....''I cannot even give it away'' he told me......what a gent....and in return I sent him postage, some extra 'beer tokens' and a brand new tank pad I had that fitted his T120. The mounting brackets are slightly different from the T120 to the Thruxton but nothing an hour in the shed making a couple of simple brackets didn't sort out.....once again Mach1, many thanks,

    Cheers, dickydido IMG_0951.JPG IMG_0954.JPG

Ha hah. Why is it that you get the urge to press send twice just in case.

They were actually taken in May the day I picked it up, but I happened to mention I haven't touched it since last month.

Jeez Eagle Eye Crispey, I'd have to get up early in the morning to catch you out ;)

Not only lack of salt, abundance of greenery but also the lack of shadow length showing the sun is quite high.
