    Hello from Crete, bloody hot here although I have a beer in an iced glass. Looks like your getting the practice to do my bike Nick. Keep up the good work fella :)

    I read in this original triumph guide that i mooched off the net they faces out in the pictures here goes might be of use to others also

    Whichever way they ended up!! I wasn't going to fart arse around with them anymore! I think mine face in toward the wheel

    That is exactly how I fitted mine with those very instructions.
    It did however spark quite a few variations from forum members all with very valid reasons.

    Turn them through 90 degrees every 1,000 miles. lol

    I guess best not say anything about mounting knee pads on the tank at this point as loking at the pics I see most of you chaps got them on

    Well I managed to get them on didnt take too long really cut them down the back so you cant see the split and superglued them back together quite easy really :D

    Nice bike Ken.
    I totally agree with you changing the seat back to original.
    In my opinion the K&Q seats do not suit the Bonnies.
    They may be comfier for touring, but the look is wrong.
    The OEM seats are bloody hard though, so be prepared.

    Well here it is - my first Bonneville, I traded in a 2010 Street Triple for this beauty, after seeing it in a local bike shop with only 1300 on the clock, and I must say I have no regrets. The triple was a great bike but I don't regret the swap!

    Ha - Yeah thanks! The weather has been amazing so all that blue sky and sea does help set off the tank

    Looks ace was wondering is the rear brake setup modified in some way or do all the new machines have it mounted upwards my 2010 SE is underneath

    Yes you're right, it is modified to move the calliper to the top of the disc. It was done before I bought it but happy with it as it tidys things up a bit and adds a bit of ground clearance if you need it! I think it's a motone customs bracket...
