Our pets

So very true and yep very ironic, I think a few of us lot on here know that statement in a very personel way and would agree with every word of it, but given a choice its one you'de take to go through again and again for such a loyal friend, never is there such a reward as having a pet,

 

Yep. We thought about it and talked about it before we decided to get our Hannah. The many joyful days for us (and hopefully her) are worth it.

 

little Buddy is now 1 week old and looks like he's wearing a Batman mask.

Here is Leia (like the princess).
She is a 8 years old Beauceron (shepherd dogs).
Dog from a rescue centre, more than probably saved from dog fight, according to the rescue centre.
Since 7 years she's back to a normal life with us. We are living in an old mountain farm, perfect environment for her. Her best buddy is our cat.
Not too bad for a dog that people wanted to put in a ring with other dogs.

She is more Zorro than Batman

 

Tia peeping through the net curtain, keeping an eye on the local hood cats, while impersonating an Afghan hound.

 

Are those the ones with an extra hind claw? Very much a one man dog I gather?

 

Yes, she has the extra hind claw and the extra rib bone . Specialist says she is somehow mixed with a rottweiler. And yes, it's a one man dog, no need to speak, she understands everything like we are connected from day 1 she lives with us.

Two weeks old now and he's the smallest in the litter.

3 weeks old today and another five before he comes home.

 

Yes he's called Buddy.

 

That's probably right Jez, but the name kinda stuck

 

And usually with the second syllable of the name ending with a long e sound--Buddy, Lilly, Annie. That is a totally adorable puppy, @David Cooper!

looking good , is it from working stock?.

 

Yes but he won't be working, he's just a companion to take out on nice long walks, I've always had working Patterdales that I used for ratting at the pig farms but they've all closed now.
