She's a big softie! It's amazing actually how many facial expressions she can display... we love her to bits...

Same with my two. Stan is an absolute cutie pie. Once it gets to Cuddle o’clock there’s no shifting him off my knee. Trouble is there are several Cuddle o’clocks throughout the day.

She's a lovely rottweiler... in fact, despite being twice Prutser's size, she allows prutser to push her off her own bed! She's ever so sweet. Unless you don't belong to her "family" - then she might be somewhat fierce.

Miss Annie is taking good care of me while I recuperate. :)
    IMG_7344.jpeg

My girlfriend, Dena, brought me a tennis ball today to work my left hand while I'm sitting around and can't use that arm. Annie was quite certain that the tennis ball was for her and not for me! :joy::joy::joy:

IMG_0241.JPG This was our Annie, a border colllie/labrador cross (very intelligent with a tendency to go chunky). In the cropped photo, she is blowing a raspberry at the cat.

We adopted her in 2001 as a 3-year old from a neighbour a few streets away. Our daughter used to take Annie for walks for the neighbour, and one day the neighbour asked if we'd take her on.

Two days after we adopted Annie, our daughter called in at the neighbour's house with Annie. Some time later, there was a knock at the door, it was a man pointing out that we had a dog sitting on our doorstep - did we know it. At that moment, the phone rang - it was our daughter saying that they couldn't find Annie. Annie had decided she liked her new home better, and had done a runner back to us.

Annie had a huge vocabulary of words, commands and phrases (if memory serves, we counted over 250). We suspected she could also read the time - 6pm dinner, 9pm last walk of the day - on the dot, no excuses accepted.

She knew 'going in the car' and always became exited when 'the car' phrase was mention. One evening, there was a chat show on the telly, and the host said in a loud sing-song voice, "ladies and gentlemen, it's Ga-ry Lin-e-kaaar". Annie was out of her bed, looking for her lead, squealing with excitement. It took a few minutes to work out that 'Gary Lineker' sounded a lot like 'going in the car' to the mutt.

    Milo

Ozric who became an unstable diabetic and had to have daily blood tests and injections which i didn't like but became use to the routine and live a long and happy life.

Tull who was a rather handsome lad.

    Odo the mince pie thief.

Loki the diminutive one on the left of Tull small but bossie and if any of them pissed her off you could hear her land a punch from the other side of the room.
