I don't. The wife and wean's have dogs. Got a Jack russell too. Don't mind the black lab, but I'm not a pet person. Told them if they want to keep a pup, they have to rehome the jack russell !!!:D:D:D

Stopped eating now, Pissed on the carpet and threw up, so shouldn't be long to go now.
Whelping box built and conservatory given over, so the wee buggers can get straight out.

Having had 2 dogs attacked by errant Staffies within the last 2 weeks and had another dog chewed up twice last year, we used Manuka honey on the open wounds.
Sounds crazy? That's what I thought, not being one who makes a habit of talking to plants like Charlie boy, but it was recommended by the vet last year, theirs cost £7.50, but I bought a small jar from Morrisons the other week for £1.50 & got 5x as much!
It really does work, but you need the higher grade stuff, look for 10+ or higher, you'd be hard pushed to find neat Manuka honey from New Zealand, its usually mixed with 'standard' honey, Morrisons is a good one, Wilkin & sons, Tiptree.
Dont buy the cheap obscure named variety, it probably does not contain Manuka honey and it wont work as well, although some say ordinary honey does work, I'd stick to a good make as I know it works for my dogs.
Even if you had to buy a large pot it would still be cheaper than 2 tiny tubes from the vets and its also very nice on toast!

Something else I know that works on ticks is to smother it with Vaseline, it suffocates the tick and it falls/pulls off very easily complete leaving nothing to go pussy.
Also Fullers Earth [calcium bentonite] helps 'wet' wounds to heal too, it used to mined as an ingredient for WW2 gas masks, but has other uses.
There is an ex-Fullers Earth mine on the out-skirts of Bath, I think you could still get some from there, if not try Boots!:)

7 hours in, and were up to 8 pups now. 4 dogs and 4 bitches. All doing well.
Might be done, but maybe more to come!

Been kinda random times. Shortest time 3 minutes, longest close to 2 hours, which was the last one. So not sure she's done yet.
Have to stay up most of tonight, just in case. Watching Colombiana on Channel 4. :D
