I can think of a few places :). Certainly with 24 / 7 reruns of the last Scotland v England rugby match and Flower of Scotland playing at AC/DC concert levels :)

12 to 1, not so run of the mill, to be expected, (or "every other year" as you say).
More " A historic victory that will live long in the memories of Rugby fans everywhere."

I just don't get trolls and why they feel the need to do it. there is probably an EU research grant waiting for someone. "Trolls - an episiostic investigation and recommendations for action by the EU PC Committee"

Biggest troll on here is DD , all you got to do is study him.
I'll volunteer to cut him into sections for putting under the microscope :)

Should have said we need some brave soul to extricate him from under his bridge first!
    That could get messy. ;)

Well I go offline for a couple of days and it all kicks off!
Not 100% sure this would have gone bandy quite as quick had we not recently had troll make a couple of attempts to make trouble. I think whilst this guy may well have been in the same mould or even quite possibly the actual Troll from before, we need to be careful that we don't alienate new members that just have a strange way of interacting.
At the risk of getting splinters in my arse from sitting on the fence, if we blow off one genuine member coz they are strange then the original Troll has won?

The original post here is just provocative.

I appreciate that everyone has to the freedom to make their own choices and live (or die) by the results of those.

There is a reason why helmet laws were introduced.
There is a reason why in the UK the CBT syllabus is changing to include a greater emphasis on wearing protective clothing.
There is a reason why wearing gloves is going to become mandatory.

    Last but not least....
There is a reason why many of us choose to give ourselves the best possible chance should the worst happen.

Now if the OP doesn't reside under a bridge (jury is still out on that one in my mind), he needs to engage brain a bit more before posting that kind of divisive opinion. If he is genuine, I hope he stays lucky and he or his family don't end up having to live with the consequences of his not wearing protection.

ATGATT is like wearing a condom during sex with a stranger.... Using one is a choice; but choosing not to can land you in all kinds of bother you'd rather have avoided!

First time I’ve ever heard wearing gear likened to wearing a condom :)
It’s up to the individual but wearing a lid, body armour etc is just a no brainer.
Sat Nav to me is better than using maps strapped to your leg imv plus they don’t get wet.
Only thing I don’t use is Bluetooth , I’ve no interest in hearing my phone ringing whilst riding or listening to music.
The only thing I think blue tooth is good for is communicating with a pillion but I’ve gone so long without it I can live without it.

Biggest bonus from Bluetooth is getting commands from your sat-nav which means you spend far less time looking at the screen, which is a potential hazard IMO.
As SWMBO also rides we also use Bluetooth for bike to bike comms (but neither of us is looking for a conversation). :)
I nearly always switch the phone off when riding, although on rare occasions we've used them to extend range beyond what's possible with Bluetooth bike-to-bike.
......Which was a god send when SWMBO got abandoned marking a turn on the 2016GMU rideout.

Wrong tartan for anything to do with my family.
Also none of my family went to the colonies either forced or voluntarily :)
So no Scottish American cousins to pollute our genes ;)

Edit plus if it was one of my relations he would have the good sense to wear trous:)

Just a wee side note most American rednecks have a Scottish side to their families.
The areas that the rednecks come from were mainly settled by Scots as everyone else was too wimpish to get into those areas. :)
