Welcome.. Being up North I have no idea where London is. But if you fancy a long ride I am sure we will have a suitable garage that will help you out. But on a serious note. I am sure someone will help you find a place that will help you out. Great bike mate..
Welcome Lijo. I did John o Groats from Bedford on my Street Twin this year. Well worth the effort. Some cracking roads north of the border which our Scottish forum-mates try to keep a secret.. Plenty of folk on here will be pleased to connect with you. Also check out the thread GMU2018 wjhere a bunch of us bare planning a get together in Wales next July. Come and join us.
Hi Rich, thanks for the invite, will be a pleasure to join you guys to Wales. I just returned on Monday evening after a 5 day / 1500 miles ride to John O'Groats and back. Me on my Bonnie and my friend from US on a rented R1200R. Enjoyed the ride thoroughly! Yeah the roads were a bit cracked up in between but (as you rightly said) was worth the efforts! Sunday we rode almost 8 hours in non-stop rain, torrential! Been without a phone since then! Over all it was an excellent experience and a true test of riding skills! Tchau Tchau Lijo
If you haven't had the exhausts fitted yet Lijo, and can get them and the bike up the road to Woburn, call Dale on 01525 292490 and we'll do them here at Pure Triumph and I'll make you a brew and talk bollox while you wait.. +
Hey Rich, thanks a lot mate, just left my bike last evening with my local garage and they are installing it up for me. I will still visit Woburn to meet you and have a cup of coffee. Looking to pick another bike up sometime next year, perhaps an Explorer, still contemplating! Cheers/Lijo
And remember guys, Dunnet Head, just up the road from John o Groats is actually a tad further north, so you'll need to go back to tick it off.
