@Dan Zulu Terrific bike great colour and glad you decided Triumph was for you. Do enjoy as if i need to say that
Hi Dan & congrats on your latest purchase! The tires will be fine if they're 2021 manufacture, it's only after they get to 7 years or so that you should start to think of replacing them. I'd say get them out for a few rides first at least, to see what they're like, before you even consider replacing them. Have fun!
Thank you. That is surprising, but I am happy to be wrong about the need to replace an expensive set of tires.
Sorry, just seen this, as Kiwicol says, as long as there is plenty of tread, no damage, they suit the bike and you're happy with the handling, you're good to go. I would say 6 or more years old and it's time to think about changing.
Yeah Dan, they're fine. Just watch that tire dressing (the stuff that makes them shiny) doesn't get on the tread area. It was probably on there from when you brought it, get rid of it with some warm soapy water, you don't want that stuff on your tires (tread area) when riding on road. It makes the rubber very slippery and you can do without that when leaned over. Well, it looks like it has tire dressing on it, may not have, but the tip still stands.
Greetings, @Dan Zulu, and welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of Triumph! And a BIG congrats on your Tiger purchase. It looks like it fits you quite well and that red is gorgeous. Please keep us posted on your foray into the biker world!
