I agree. In my time you started on 125cc until you passed your test. Made sence not to go on big bikes until you could handle and understand the difficulties in traffic ect ok then again the test was stupid going round in circles on a housing estate waiting for the tester to jump out in front of you to see if you could bring the bike to a halt in a safe manor. Then a flip chart of signs a few highway code Q&A and bingo off with the L . Glad to say there's a bit more in it now but the limit of cc was good. Don't know the DAS but from reading on here you can get near anything?

It's shame really, as it probably put him off riding bikes. Mind you the flip side is someone probably got a cheap k1300 plus riding gear on MCN!
