Oh, I whole heartedly believe the Daytona will be a cracking investment, the market is only just waking up to them but I have no doubt that the best preserved ones will do very nicely. It makes the right bikes very easy to justify buying and the more you have the easier it is to still ride them whilst keeping the mileages low.
Yes its nice to have all these toys and also being a nice little earner but then not being able to use that regular and when used it would frighten me leaving it anywhere as it would be playing on your mind is it safe
I will have a lot more opportunity by the end of this year that will steadily increase, but I doubt I'll do more than 500 miles a year. It's for high days and holidays and using as such keeps driving it a special experience. As for leaving it anywhere, you just can't really and that is a real draw back as it does limit what you can use it for - I still wouldn't be without it though and it's a nice complement to the bikes.
