Managed a ride today

    I agree with HT, maybe even a cut out where the pressure is. Not being funny but try one of those little surgical rubber rings to see how it feels! Or one of those neck supports you get for air travel, under your backside not on your neck, you fool!

    Did 180 miles today, first proper long distance run, done over 5 hours'ish.

    By 50 miles my arse was sore, by 100 miles I was aching and sliding back up onto the pillion perch whilst going through the 30 zones, by 150 miles I forgot about it and by journeys end I could have happely carried on for a good few more miles. Climbed off the bike and felt fine. On a similar distance on my previous bikes, i would have levered my aching back and knees off the bike and spent next 10 minutes stretching and complaining, so quite happy with the comfort level.

    Still thinking of straighter bars, similar to those on the Speedmaster, but am going to stick with what I have at the moment.
