Thanks so much. Very excited, although with a wee bit of trepidation. Since posting this, I decided to order the grab rails accessory just like the T-120 has. I figured it would be easier to move the bike around in my garage with those attached. Got the chrome ones.

Now I'm thinking of one of the dresser (crash bars) for it. Saw a couple of black ones. One by Hepco Becker, and the other by SW-Motech. Would consider one that protects, yet doesn't look too dorky.

A new bike is worthy of excitement! I'm betting that trepidation will evaporate after a little bit of time in the saddle. I took a lengthy break some years ago from riding and when I got back on it took very like time to put any uneasiness behind me.

I got the T100, same color, in Dec and am adding a few extras. Everything was on backorder until Jan so I'm just now takng the bike in on Saturday for the installations and 500 mile MX. Even though we could install everything, we decided to go with the dealership since we got them to include the accessory installation gratis after we'd agreed on the price (super no haggling, take it or leave it pricing).

They are adding a chrome grab rail and rack, center stand, pannier rails, chrome dresser bars, and heated grips. I'd like to add a windshield but am absolutely undecided on which direction to go there (OEM, Madstad, Parabellum, Dart, ...). Am also wondering if I need to add a radiator protector. And want to replace a couple of the covers. And may want to add handlebar risers. And...oh my, where will it end?

Also, I don't think dresser bars are dorky at all. I love the look on most bikes and hope I never need to test the functionality. Ride safe.

What do we call this disease? Farkle-itis? - Doesn't matter what type of bike you have, they always need something doing to them! Maybe that's why we have Winter, to give us time to do these things ....Ha, Cabin Fever Strikes Again - must go and polish that little Gremlin Bell hiding underneath the bike somewhere....

P.S. Enjoy the Bike - I'm sure you will and don't worry about local dealerships - my nearest is about 1,500kms away!

Congrats on your bike as well! Love the color. I ended up adding the grab rails and dresser bars, both in chrome....Being in the business, I first went to a picture I found of our color bike and put dresser bars on in Photoshop, made them black, then made them chrome. I liked the look of the chrome best. The parts guy at the dealership looked at me like...... "this guy must be OCD" hahahahaha. Anyway, parts coming in a week or to. Having them install as well. I could handle it but figured while it is approved by Triumph, let them do it. No rush I guess as I am looking out my window with a few inches of snow on the ground. Looking to take first ride, end of March perhaps. Best of luck with your new bike.

p.s. Do you think you will adjust the clutch and brake settings at the grips. I guess it depends on how long one's fingers are. Personal preference.

@Photog_Steve, here's a couple of pics of my bike with the dresser bars and grab bar with rack, pannier supports, and center stand they installed yesterday.

    20210221_150915.jpg
The angle of the photo makes the rack look bigger than it is but it is big enough to be useful. I love how substantial they are; the diameter of the rails are bigger than the ones on the rack on my husband's HD. Also, looks to me like the distinctive Triumph triangle is in the dresser bars design...could just be me but I surely see it that way☺.

Also here's a pic of the grip with the integrated heater control. Thought about aftermarket heated grips but liked that these would be fully integrated instead of a separate controller stuck on the bike somewhere and they show on the screen. Now I need a chance to try them out! 20210221_151001.jpg

When I saw the bill o_O from the service department for the installation fee for everything, I was super glad it was charged to the sales department instead of me! I think I would have still gone with dealership install but was glad it was part of my purchase.

I also picked up a cover to replace the very plain one on the right side (alternator cover) but haven't put it on yet. Went with the brushed silver because I didn't want too much chrome and love the classic look of this one. To me that blank cover just begged to be upgraded.
    20210221_230635.jpg
And as far as OCD, I didn't just stand in front of the display wall to choose which badge I liked best because I know I have to see something in the place it'll go. So I took all six choices to a similar bike in the showroom to try them out. The salesman was incredibly patient and indulgently held them up to the bike so I could step back and see the effect of each. OCD? Nahhh, informed! I likely would have chosen a different one if I'd not put it with the bike first.

And next will be a new cover for the brake reservoir. Does Triumph put these covers that beg for replacement on purpose so we spend even more??

And I have adjusted the brake and clutch but really I could easily use them on any adjustment. It is a really nice option though. Just super glad to be past the 500 mile initial break-in mark and have that initial maintenance done. Ride safe.

Man you just made me LOL with regard to that ACG badge, check this out...

I've got the same T100 as you, essentially, same color scheme. I spent a couple hours over the weekend trying to decide which damn ACG badge to purchase to dress up the crankcase a bit. Almost went for the 'finned' look, then the union jack, finally pulled the trigger on that same minimalist, black 'Triumph Motorcycles' one that you did because of the simple elegance.

So glad to hear you chose this one after actually holding it up to the bike, can't wait for mine to show up in the mail.

    Too funny!

And that's the one I'd have likely chosen off the wall, the finned one...and it did look good (can you make the bike look bad?) because I liked how it duplicated the cooling fins. But the other was, exactly like you said, "simple elegance." So here's the rest of the story...

When the service department was done with the installations and I saw the chrome of the dresser bars in the sun of the parking lot, I second-guessed myself on the already-paid-for badge..."Gee, maybe I should have gone with the chrome one to go with the other chrome." Talk about an indulgent salesman, he let me carry the chrome badge outside to put next to my bike with the new dresser bars...and he held it for me to see as I stepped back. Looked good but the brushed one still looked better to my eye...kept the engine as a coherent section and didn't compete with the dresser bars. Again, not OCD, just informed!;)

Definitely not OCD, just a finely honed esthetic sensibility, am I right?

I'm just as bad when it comes to deciding on accessories, ended up going with a black grab rail and a brown comfort seat and it all comes together nicely.

Like you said, all Bonnevilles are beautiful!

You might shop Cycletrader. Last I looked there were new 2019's available. I don't think there are significant differences since then. I know I saw one for under $8,000.00 USD.

Super pics. I like the badge you are questioning. I like that it and the brake reservoir cover are similar...nice continuity.

Encouraging riding, appreciating beautiful bikes, talking about bike options, giving/getting feedback on all things MC, connecting with others of like minds...all sounds on topic to me!:) Of course, I also often say, "The more easily amused I am, the more often I get to be amused." so I may not be the best judge of proper.:D

You did a fine job with your selections. Beautiful choices. Glad I'm not alone on being fussy. After all, we are spending some $$$ here. May as well have it perfect. Take care and have fun riding.

Didn't think I was one for modifications only got a centre stand for maintenance purposes when purchased my T100 .My view was you pay premium for a good bike you should get the best parts. I was thinking of changing to a different bike but just a simple modification like a Brass fuel cap (which I bought online and looks great) and reading about everyone elses modifications maybe has changed my mind.(photo to follow in morning ).See how it goes ... Think the indicators will have to go;-)

Difference one wee modification makes (fuel cap) think will do lots more ......Cant believe the quality of indicators it looks as if its taped up ...its not!!! its going
