could be,i saw the quo a few years ago when Alan Lancaster joined them again for the frantic four tour and they were only on for about 45 minutes! i wasn't impressed, my mate who is a big Quo fan wasn't amused when i said Springsteen is older and he plays for 3/4 hours non stop

Been to see him a few times at the Brighouse Ritz.
He used to come every January straight into the New year and always gave a fantastic performance.
A great genuine guy, got stuck into the Pie & Peas at the interval and just mingled in.
    The locals loved him.

Saw the Foo Fighters in Manchester, just before Grohl broke his leg and the couldn't play Glastonbury... and they were brilliant, first big gig I took my kids to... but I have just caught their Glastonbury appearance this year on iPlayer. What an awesome show... just awesome!

Phil Collins . He looked pretty broke up on stage . Could hardly walk with a walking stick . Sat through the whole performance. Slightly high pitch in his voice now but great songs . 20170625_213523.jpg

I thought Colin's had given up live performance due to a nerve problem following collapse of some vertebrae. Glad to see he's up and about, if still a bit crook! The mans an awesome song writer and performer

I think this will be his last one, His son was on the drums. I would say his as good as his dad on them plus he played keyboard with his dad on one song.

Well I was gigging in a mini-festival tonight... the theme was films... we couldn't really go as anything else unless it was Spinal Tap!

Holy Holy at Salisbury City Hall last Friday.
"Woody" Woodmansey on drums, Tony Visconti on bass with Glenn Gregory (Heaven 17) on vocals.
Played the whole of The man who sold the world and The rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust albums, plus Jean Genie in the encore. Excellent

Strange co-incidence but the first I ever travelled to see was Meatloaf in June 78' at the Manchester Apollo, and the last I saw was him again @ the 3 Arena Dec 10'.

With his daughters band as support.

Not as good as my first memories but that could be the rose tinted memories, some of the strength in his voice seems to be going with age.

But having said that it was still a good performance and well worth going to

I saw Meatloaf in Glasgow about 2012/13 and unfortunately it was sad to see, i can't begin to describe how bad he was:confounded: he should never have been on stage.I wish I had seen him in his prime

Went to see Jeff Wayne perform War of the Worlds a few weeks ago. Very good concert, but it was it really 40 years since I bought the album.
