I de tacked them by sticking them to my tee shirt a dozen times, you could apply paper to the centres of the poppy or even cut a circle of paper so just a few mm of stick hits the tank.

 

Another good idea. Will give it a try tomorrow and let you know how i get on.

I sat for a whole morning with a fellow RSL member. Australia's version of the Royal British Legion.
The most was given by those who had least !!
