Can't believe all the people on here saying they dint have any trouble wi their Aprilia's! My 1st one was an 02, and it was great. Raced it for 3 years anorl, and it never missed a beat. Swapped it for an 07 Mille R, which looked ,and still does, gorgeous. But it let me down continually. I never knew if it was gonna start in a morning, which is a pain. It let me down int pyrenees, and cost me 500 euros to get it vanned to Santander. Every "common" fault that Aprilias could have, that bike had!! Proper Friday afternoon special! Last straw was when ECU went, it was only firing on one cylinder. Sorted it and traded it for mi Speed Triple, and immediately wished I'd done it years ago!!

Had my Tuono R Gen2 for a couple of years. Never any problems with it, not once.

Warning - low battery can feck up sprag (iirc), so Keep the battery plugged in to an optimiser, and will start every time.

Best noise of any bike, loads of torque from that beast of an engine. Love mine, can't see me ever replace it.
