    The Green Book.

Funny, brilliant, sad. Definitely worth a watch.

    Just watched - The Joker.

Absolutely feckin brilliant. One of the best comic book based films. Yer man Phoenix is good, not your usual Hollywood leading men. If you enjoyed Heath ledger as Joker, you'll enjoy this. Not as over-the-top as he was in Batman, but a much more 'realistic' origin story in this version.

Really, really good. Go out to the cinema, it's worth the effort.

Baby Driver - superb music score.
Using "Hocus Pocus" by Focus is a brilliant choice, synchronising the gunfire to the guitar riff is a stroke of genius!

Again not a film, just a recap on death scenes from G.O.T.

Slightly worrying how my favourite character Arya seems to feature in so many of them. :skull:

    Watching Terminator Genisys.

Even before it's finished I am writing this. Mainly because it is utter tripe and doing this keeps me distracted.

Time travel bollox that actually looks worse than the original. Jason Clarke actually makes Arnie look like a decent actor :p

    Avoid this.

I just re-watched Close Encounters of the Third kind. I love that film, but I’m struck by the soundscape... the interactions of the family as he’s cracking up is so cluttered and fussy, I can barely hear the conversations ... but it’s a bit more “real life” than a lot of modern films

Cloud atlas...and then all the bonus material...and then listened to the soundtrack on Spotify

Love the film, very cinematic, great photography, message, acting
One of those films you can watch a dozen times and still see something new each time

    Joker...

awesome acting, not like a graphic novel at all. Best WB’s DC universe film by a long shot. Gotta agree with @MrOrange all the way

Dolemite is my name. Netflix film with Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes. 9/10 really funny with a great soundtrack based on true events. Well worth watching

Thanks for the recommendation, I have just started watching it now...
Edit: halfway through and had to disconnect internet due to one of my son's getting verbally absive to other online players on his game
Will continue the second half tomorrow
(I would block just his computer but he does something which reconnects it and bypasses the firewall, so I have to hide the router...he is only 15)
