The Missus and I watched the Behemoth the other night. Really corny old film from the 50's. Plenty of old Triumph's though. Too bad that was the only redeeming feature!

    Robin Hood (2019).

Why do I even start watching these films when I know they are going to be utter shite. I knew I would watch every archery scene and wince, but the portrayal of archers in the opening scheme running around like bows were machine guns. In medieval times, you didn't aim a bow at the enemy, you just fired shit loads of arrows to decimate the enemy, not as an urban assault weapon.
It then just takes every scene from recent big films and rehashes them into a Robin hood setting.
    Its utter garbage, avoid.

Loved Breaking Bad! A friend just told me that the Sporanos was one of her and her husband's all time faves. That's good news because Mr. Sandi and I generally like what they do. And there are eight whole unwatched seasons yawning beautifully in front of us! :grinning: We can binge watch to our hearts' content. Well for a couple of weeks anyway. ;)

Have you watched all eight Fast & Furious movies, DD? Mr. Sandi and I were thinking that having a series of eight movies (not just TV episodes) could last us for quite some time. ;)

Mr. Sandi and I went to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood a couple of weeks ago. First movie we've seen in the theatre for quite some time. I'm a big Quentin Tarantino fan. One of my favorite movies of all time is Pulp Fiction. Anyway, Quentin made it nearly all the way to the end of his latest movie before his trademark ultra violent scene showed up. And it was a real doozy! We both enjoyed the film a lot. And I always enjoy seeing Brad Pitt in anything--or in nothing. ;)

Soprano's is excellent. Some seasons better than others, but overall a brilliant series.

The Pines is a particular stand out episode.

Clint Eastwood adjusts his movies to his age. Much better than playing the everlasting gunslinger.

    Green Book
Avoided the movie for a while, being afraid it could be too pathetic.
But I was wrong. I really enjoyed the plot and the dialogues. Good stuff!

El Camino Christmas (Netflix)5/10 a bit meh but not terrible.

I don't know why it's set at Christmas as it has no bearing on the film that could have been set in July and not changed anything script wise (I genuinely think it started snowing during filming and they didn't have the budget to change anything). Plus points is Jessica Alba and some other wee hottie is in it

Magnum Force on tv the other night. Classic Clint Eastwood "Mans gotta know his limitations"
Why do the vigilante cops bikes change from Moto Guzzis to Triumphs for the final aircraft carrier scene? (Clint has trouble kick starting his).
