With reference to 'self preservation' I take it you'll be moving out of Burnley then ?

Try Asda, that's who I eventually went with.
Asda use all the big names but obviously instruct the insurers to quote their absolute best prices to win the business.

When trying put triple on present insurance along with K1300 Gt, CN first wanted £450 for 1 month, then came out to £580 fro both bikes, looked on line and CN quoting £340 both bikes, phoned them and complained and ended up £328 both bikes.

The best I'm getting is 377 + 750 excess :-(. With all the mods declared. Fully comp. I spoke to Carl Nash, performance direct, me, asda. Mce is my best quote. I'm concerned with my excess

Just done my 02 Speed triple, 53 fully comp, a million years NCB and garaged overnight for £104 with Bennetts, did the whole comparison thing and carol nash (who wanted £240!!) I've found the whole insurance thing is a farce and changes daily. I wanted to insure my DRZ400 with the speedy but it came out too expensive

They are cheaper, I've just managed to do the DRZ for £70 fully comp with bennetts on a separate policy(with zero NCB cause the S3 has that) so thats both my bikes are insured for just over £170.
When I tried to do both bikes on a single policy Bennetts wanted nigh one £300......how the fuck does that work??

    Again, live and learn

Thats because they are two different styes of bike the same happens with my bikes 1959 BSA A10 £90 fully comp and 2006 Yam MT01 £80 fully comp or £360 together on the same policy so have all separately, three with the same company lol and it's a real headache always seams to be renewal time!!! I have told them this and they're not interested and don't particuarly care.

The best I'm able to negotiate is 310 now with the excess of 750. This includes all mods but should anything happens, they will only replace with standard oem parts.

Ah well it is what it is. The problem is mine is in a locked compound but the insurance company treats it as a drive way/road parking

So Carole Nasty ins renewal came in the post, our best offer is £440.00 for your 2 bikes, lol. Now i ins my car with LV and they now do bike ins so gave them a phone and did not say how much my renewal was just asked for a quote, £220.00 was the reply half that of C Nasty and only £200 excess half the £400 CN wanted, well pleased :)

What sites did you compare on? Hastings direct was my cheapest but randomly increased by £200 when I went through top cashback and not the comparison link.

Mine is £315 with only 1 years n.c

Hi Wayne, I have a 2016 SPEED R and paid the same has you. I am 50 and with Bennetts. It will be interesting to see what I get quoted this May. I had a Street before the Speedy and that was a lot cheaper!

Contacted Hastings Direct yesterday to change address, cost me £25, nothing for the car with another company!
Also during conversation I discovered they have all their customers on auto-renew, I soon un-auto reviewed that, I'l decide who insures me, not necessarily the cheapest but the best to suit me.
I think its a bloody cheek for them to assume you will automatically go with them, I shop around.
