In Big trouble I think.......Triumph Thunderbird 900

    Update On penelope, she is sick again Grrrrr. But i have found someone who knows about Triumphs , GB Motorbikes . I was still having issues with pen holding revs, so i dropped the bike down to GB Motorbikes . I was met by Ger Byrne. Who started her up and went through her visually. Streight way he said you have an alternator problem. And as Sprintdave rightly pointed out the shaft is broken. On a good note , after he took the clutch plates out he seems to think that dreaded washer is in place. Apparently Triumph are more than aware of this issue and have made a kit up that will resolve the problem. I have full faith in this guy. He certainly talks the talk and was well ( excuse the pun) tuned into Triumphs and the issues some modals have. I told him about my trip to Buxton and he said he will do his best to get her ready. Waiting on parts now, fingers crossed

    Just to Add, this guy has a workshop to die for. Its like a surgery with op table i bet he has a nurse to assist him :rolleyes:
