I have a Hurricane tank I got in a pile of project bike parts many years ago. Never used but no seat. Very heavy. Buried under the beautiful glass is a steel tank. Hanging on the wall in my shop. Conversation piece.

And people will pay for classic bikes these days simply because most of us started riding when classic bikes where the most modern thing out there and nostalgia is king, i wonder just how today's bikes will fair in another fifty years.;)

Don't get me wrong i also like modern tech and no oil leaks is always good....but you cant beat an oil pressure gauge;)...but i just wonder if today's high tech bikes will survive as well nostalgia wise given the current disposable attitudes.

I suspect the electronics will be the undoing of our modern bikes. When the ECU croaks you’re done. Old bikes were so simple in comparison. I used to be able to tune or even rebuild a bike. Today, not so much.
