@Wicked Pete You can tell your Good Lady you are not on your own. We who ride are devoted and in love with our machines it like a friendship. Unfortunately if she has never ridden a bike you won't be able to explain that feeling between a rider and his bikes.

Well I did cut down from 21 bikes to 12 :).
She's been very understanding throughout the racing and bike trips and the magazines and...well, you know.
My Good Lady actually bought the new Triumph for me! I've always bought and sold bikes and quads to support my addiction but she decided I was worth it??

The obligatory new bike shot. So far I've installed a Hepco rr rack, Acerbis handguards, and the Unit Garage windshield. Also also fabbed a front fender extension. Too cold to ride now.

Next is my '64 Matchless. Non stock items include fenders and a Norton twin leading shoe front brake. Not very fast but quite comfortable and has beautiful proportions. Waiting on clutch parts.

Last is my '61 Velocette 500 Endurance. I decided I would keep the patina. She has been dove gray, red, and black. I bought it for $500 four years a go. It was literally a barn find. The motor turned over when I found it but needed piston, rings, valves and guides. Because it was '060" over I was told a Harley piston was the next step. Had to machine a new gudgeon pin. Added a Thorspark E ignition and an OK carby. Recently got laced two Akront ally rims and new Dunlops. I banged out the primary cover after installing a KTT belt drive and engine seal. She still marks her territory...
