The reasons for the poor running/and non starting has been revealed. Previous owners mechanical incompetence and lies exposed.
Would have been nice to have been informed of the yoshimura modifications lol, that worked out well !!!!
Why anyone throws1000s into buying quality replacement part's then, with zero skills with the spanners ,ruins a project.
Thankfully all the faults can be resolved and I can enjoy getting the wee honda sorted properly, I'm a great believer in doing it right and doing it once.
So if the numpty from Cylnder, up near Faslane is reading this, take heed, this is how it should be done, and hopefully you will be more honest with any future sales you attempt. :)

Quick update. 18months and a ton of money wasted, trusting a honda "specialist" in Daventry with this rebuild. It was returned in a shocking condition but is now being done properly. It can be viewed on Instagram, the guy is Anthony at Rust to Resto.

Basically everything, anyone who has any interest in Hondas, yip I know this is a triumph forum, but please do your homework and give Honda classics restoration a body swerve,, untrustworthy and I wouldn't let them service my lawn mower.

Looks amazing - you’ll get over the cost (if you’ve done it - you can afford/have afforded it) soon enough whereas the enjoyment you'll have of owning and riding this will last forever. Money is only for spending

It might have been a money pit, but you must surely give yourself a BIG pat on the back, as that looks absolutely stunning. Brilliant job I say. :):)

Thank you, I'm chuffed how it's turned out but I have to say I didn't do any of the engine work, all i done was the easy bits, the engine was done by Rust to Resto in leyland lancs. It's now tucked up nicely along side the speed triple:heart_eyes:
