Hey Ade, I was once a short term bmw rider and definately not a typical one!! I did notice that the Bm riders forum FELT like it was invite only!! They remind me of ball room dancers and everything has to be just by the book!

Ade need I say more your spot on with your opinions. I am tempted to go to the big meet up but will I get stoned if I turn up on a BM. Am I correct in thinking its being held in Buxton. Good choice if it is because its pretty central for everyone and Horizons Unlimited use Derbyshire for a few years for their UK meeting which I went to a couple of times.

I'm still working out the whole wave / nod / hand twitch thing... always did it in the 70's and I was pleasantly surprised to see it still goes on. Make and model seems irrelevant, even from the MBers. The youngsters seem to be unsure what it's all about, but we have to pass on the biker spirit to anyone on two wheels, don't we?
Agreed - I always nod at 125 learners and ped riders just to encourage them. I have found that individual HD riders will wave or nod but in a group they tend to ignore you.
