Nice bike Matt and good pics, as said in my previous post, take care, ride safely and enjoy it. I also like the Mini, that does take me back down memory lane
Haha I have noticed I am one of the younger members! My dad tells me he had a 200 something when he was younger but never really rode one after that mainly due to his mother saying they're too dangerous! Is there any advice the 'wiser, more knowledgeable' (I know you may not appreciate being reffered to as old ) members would have about the running in period? I've read the manual and it says keep to 5k revs and below for first 500 miles and gradually increase to 6k thereafter and so on... obviously I'd like to do the best for the bike to prolong it's life and optimum performance =) Cheers in advance
Not sure on the running in, but I'd keep to what they say, longish runs, not motorway, using the gearbox, when you pick up the bike book the 500 mile seevice, or even do it now as the last thing you want is the 500 miles done and no service slot for 6 weeks!!
hillman imp?? you mean like this one welcome in Matt as you can see we all change subjects very quickly
