    In DD’s case hydrophobic is a toss up between ‘rabid’ or a simple aversion to soap and water. Go with rabid. He will be less offended......hopefully.

    Thanks for everyone's help.

    Panic over it seems.

    Everything is washed down and cleaned. Copper washers anealed and brakes all reconnected and bled...

    Just need to test it all after work tomorrow. What an evening!

    Hi Dan, I recently did a full bleed and after my ride I taped up the handle (front) and pedal (rear) and left overnight.
    It appeared to make a difference in the feel (removing small air bubbles)

    Upgraded my hoses and I used a zip tie to hold the brake lever in
    Same principle and works at firming up the brake nicely
