Helmets. Ooh errr missus!

A mate of mine pulled an American chick in Cancun once while we were on a weeks R&R after jungle training in Belize, and chatted her up by blagging to her he was a helicopter pilot.

He was a top bullsh***er and by the end of the night she thought he'd single handedly defeated the IRA, saved Belize from a Guatemalan invasion, and had rescued puppies from a burning oil rig. When she asked him would he take her up in a helicopter one day, he said of course he would, in fact he'd do some acrobatics and maybe even some super duper special Army training only stunts! Anyway, the night progressed and after a good many beers & rum he took her back to his hotel and did the deed.

Anyway this chick was head over heels with him and ended up spending the week with him, and a few nights later after another night on the town she took him to her dad's holiday home, a lovely mansion!

Anyway when she woke him up in the morning she insisted he take her for a ride in the helicopter. "I can't he said, the helicopters in Belize". "That's ok she said, we can take my dad's". Turns out he'd pulled a Yank rich kid, and low and behold, there on the lawn of this massive house was a shiny new helicopter. I think he blagged something about exceeding flying hours, not taking the risk with a hangover and probably finished with something like "is that the time I've a bus to catch", and did a rapid exit.

The guys said that this girl was a total stunner too and was really into my mate. If he hadn't of blagged about the helicopter he may well have ended up living the highlife on some beach somewhere with a hot Yank. Then again I'm sure he's equally happy being a scaffolder in Hull.
