    Hi all finally got home at 15:00hrs today (Monday) after 28hrs on the road !!!! Pictures will be posted tomoz.

    Had a bit of trouble with the bike on the way home, will start a new thread tomoz.

    Scotland i'd be up for that :D Where i was thinking was Killarney in Ireland,guys down south could get the ferry from Pembroke south Wales,the midland guys from Liverpool, and the scots from Cairnryan,i did a tour there a couple of years ago and it's a lovely area with some great roads.
    i've had a look at distances and was quite surpised as i didn't seem as far as that when i did it!
    For me it would be 154 miles to the ferry then 292 miles from Belfast to Killarney (total 446miles).
    London to the ferry is 241 miles then Rosslair to Killarny is 163 miles (total 404 miles)
    the guys getting the ferry from liverpool to Dublin would be 192 miles from Dublin to Killarney plus whatever milage they are from Liverpool.
    So i'm thinking it might not be as good an idea as i first thought :oops: as you would have the extra ferry cost on top of the extra fuel..i'd still be up for it but to get a good turnout i'm not so sure.
    i think it would be a good idea to set a date now before everyone books holidays etc and we could possibly have a poll on venues later on?
