    There once was a Rooster
    Who needed a booster
    He pecked at the ground
    and suddenly found
    after all that toil
    He needed oil.

    There once was a Rooster
    Who needed a booster
    He searched the farm
    and was very calm
    When his searching lead
    to the farmer's shed.

    There once was a Rooster
    Who needed a booster
    He saw on the bench
    Some thing with a stench
    Duckhams 20/50
    He jumped up all nifty.

    There once was a Rooster
    Who needed a booster
    His beak broke the seal
    and he drank with zeal
    And what he had drunk
    Tasted like a skunk.

    There once was a Rooster
    Who needed a booster
    The oil he had drunk
    tasted like skunk
    But it led him forth
As the cock 'o the North.

    The End

I really, really wish I could mate - especially today, blue skies, sunshine. We're going to get 18° according to the weather forecast :(:(:(

There once was a biker called Biglad
Who took the piss out of Rooster so bad
    But they made amends
    And became good friends
And no longer is Rooster so sad.

No Steve, I'm sure you're not - honestly.

Just remember - I WILL be getting another one. It's just a matter of time.

And where I live it shines most of the year ;);)

I can't wait until you do Dave, no one would be happier than me (especially if it stops you writing any more poetry! )

i thought i would go on you tube and check out the infamous "cat and fiddle" as i will be going on that road on the way to the grand meet up, the first clip that came up was a guy on a zx6 crashing over a 40ft cliff,i have always avoided any clip that has crashes in it, but it had started before i realized then i was intreaged as it was the guy himself that had posted it and i thought it can't be too bad. he was riding like a idiot going round a left hander too fast he coudn't hold his line and drifted over to the right hand lane and a car was coming straight at him,he missed it by what looked like inches and ended up in the field tumbling about 40ft he got up and walked away,he was so lucky but it could easily have been game over for him and the passengers in the car

Some of them have an inbuilt system. These are the ones best avoided by any measure possible including divorce!

I'd pencilled in my diary the meet at Moffat as I'm working up round Manchester m62 area on the Thursday and Friday and thought I'd go up on bike and then carry on up. Wife informs me we have Spanish friends coming to stay that weekend!!!!
What are diaries for? Ah to tell me when I can't go out on my bike supposedly! It's my 25th anny this year too!
