Hi Nikki, the dates are 9th to 12th of August 2016. Most of us are staying here camping or bunks:

You would be made most welcome. Whereabouts in Holland are you coming from?

Hi Dave - I'll be coming from Almere, which is in Flevoland. When I travel back to see my Mum and Dad I get the ferry from Rotterdam to Hull, which is what I'll do this time. Do we book our own accommodation or is someone doing that for us.
    Cheers Nikki

Hi Nikki, It'll be great if you can make it. Everyone is booking their own Accomodation, mention you're with the Triumph group, it doesn't get discounts but they'll know where to put you

I may stay here which is about a mile away. Being of a certain age, camping in a little tent does not appeal, neither does sleeping in dorms. I like my own facilities and privacy

So near to Amsterdam then; a couple of years ago I visited a friend in Lieden and we went to Amsterdam for the day - what a beautiful city. The railway station fascade really is a work of Art.

We're about 30 mins away from Amsterdam. Agree, the Centraal Station building is spectacular and very similar to the Rijksmuseum which was designed by the same architect. I've been here 20 years and a walk down the canals is still something very special.

My one and only bike rally experience was there, some 20 years ago. My bike (Benelli 900 Sei) even managed to win a trophy there:cool: ... a parrot shaped wooden plaque:eek: (well it was 'The Parrot Rally')!:D

Not knocking it but still hoping not to see it as that will mean the weather is crap! Let's hope it isn't for once and our first Grand Meet up benefits from some sun!

I remember a couple of years ago, coming over to the UK for a bikers meetup in East Yorks on my Diversion 900. Summer time it was and the drive down to Rotterdam for the ferry from my house weather gorgeous blue sky warm and sunny. On arrival in Hull it was like Armageddon. Grey skies and torrential rain and it stayed like that all weekend. UK weather sucks, so I shall be wearing my lucky weather hat and praying for good weather
