After reading through this thread. It seems that too many cooks spoil(t) the broth :joy:
Have you guys attempted to have that meet up since 2022?

Ok thanks for the reply, it's probably too late for this year? But it would be good to try again in 2025.

I respectfully suggest that a great starting point would be to appoint two people to organise it. Don't allow everyone to stick their oar in.
Otherwise you'll just get the 2022 chaos all over again.
It was a very amusing read though! :joy:

To be honest that is generally what happened prior to the 2022 attempt at a meet.
The major problem is finding accommodation for the two main attendee groups (hostel or bunkhouse folk) and those who want to stay in hotels.

It is difficult to find suitable locations that have both close together. Not impossible, but it does have its challenges.

Route planning is definitely the easy bit.

Exactly what Wessa said. Almost impossible to find suitable bunkhouse or hostel places in close proximity to hotel/pub accommodation.

There was a suggestion to alternate between Bellingham and Llanidloes but the Bellingham bunkhouse has gone now.

Converted to a holiday let apparently.
Rode passed it last year and it's definitely no longer a bunkhouse.

Yes I was in Bellingham a year or so ago and can confirm sadly that it is definitely not a bunkhouse any more.
