Me and my mate Gordon are planning a Scotland trip next may :)
Usually do it every year but missed it this year....can't remember why??
Anyway if you don't mind a couple of Geordie types tagging along for a while we could meet up somewhere :)
Maybe have a drink or three somewhere at a stopover :p
Times and dates to be arranged and all that

Think it was about 47 quid a nite when I looked. I've booked a room just in case, I can cancel in July so by then I'll definitely know what work I've got!

Ok I've booked a room at mount inn, it's 20 min walk from bunkhouse and would be cheap by taxi 4 sharing. I've only done this rather than bunk house as I'm not sure I can make it and don't want to give false figures in regards to exclusivity of bunkhouse. If there is any availability left in bh when I know late Feb then will prob change to that.
    Quick question tho @Rooster
In your post you say bh exclusivity but campers can use bunkhouse facilities, what happens if they have campers what aren't us? God help em

They don't usually offer camping. But I asked if they could. So they said we could use the field they own if we wanted to.

It makes me laugh when people say "I would go but it's a bit far" for me it's the journey THERE and BACK that are the best bits not necessarily the destination,if that ain't a massive fun part in any trip I may aswell go in my car.
