    I have a brother over there, so I have been watching it. Not exactly cool over here in the California desert either. A little less humid though. ...J.D.

    I changed the coil on it today and took it for a test. No failure or choking issues. Ran it up to 6k rpm several times. No issues.

    Sorry saw this too late but your symptoms exactly replicate the problem I had on a 2006 Speedmaster new coils solved it.

    Where I come from in Corpus Christi Texas just had a tropical storm. Six inches of rain and sixty mph wind.

    Mark: Sounds like you are up and running. That is good news. As for the storm, we kind of dodged the bullet here. We got 2.4" rain, [which is a lot, for a place that only gets 3-5" a YEAR] but no damage. South of the mountains, they got SLAMMED. I haven't been up to my cabin in the mountains yet to see how it faired, but my neighbor up there has not called me with any bad news. ...J.D.
