Forum Trip To Spain 2020 - Cancelled Due To Covid19

I have had such an experience with my Canada trip booking through Titan. They stated that if I cancel then I would get my money back LESS the deposit (£1000). Sod that was my answer so waited until they cancelled it (inevitable really) now they have issued me a credit note, which I can use by the 20th July or they will give me a complete refund. I have complained stating they are not making any interest on MY money so wish the full amount be refunded immediately. Still waiting for a reply

 

Couple of things from the Brittany Ferries website
"Our passenger sailings are now cancelled up until the 15th June I’m afraid."
" I want to be able to give you a firm date in July when we will open for sale in 2021"

 

Ryanair cancelled my flight to Tenerife on March 21st, stating that my money would be returned within 7 days. O'Leary, the thieving little weasel, still hasn't refunded me...…………………………..

 

That'd be good. So if I have to miss the GMU I'd be likely to go to Spain in September!

 

Having had the June bike trip cancelled, I've now added a trailer on for the ferry crossings in September when we're taking the car down to the Perpignan area

 

Yep, fingers crossed. They're busy relaxing the rules here, so hopefully we'll stay on that route.

 

It was just supposed to be a week relaxing and so taking the car down.
However it's now morphed into two weeks and there's now a bike trailer attached to the car.

Also has a bonus in that I can take the Street Triple rather than the Tiger

 

Does that also mean bars and restaurants will be open too.

Hang on, if your ticket was £400 and you book another for £400 so they give you £80 off what do they give you that in? Another credit note?

Yep still a lot of moving parts to fall into place @Smilinjack , but things are looking a little more positive

 

I really don't fancy trying to catch a ferry half way !!!

 

I have a feeling Spain will go ahead. Still a few months away. Hopefully we can still go from place to place. It did sound like (at the moment, at least) you couldn’t travel around. Maybe, Alan you know More about this.

 

Discussed the possibility of not being able to move about with Andy. We could revise our plans and if possible stay in one hotel and ride out each day. I’m sure we could find loads of good rides...
