    It seems that in typical british style we create a law/not law that is clear as mud. I feer the only people to gain from this will be the lawyers.
    It is however a step in the right direction that the person at fault (not observing prior to manouver) is found to be at fault.
    Personaly I still wouldent lane split, it would be my luck for some one to open their door. (and it would be a claims lawyer)
    IMHO, I can't see the UK government ever changing the status quo to favour two wheeled road users. Look at the changes to the bike tests.
