Yes, no worries. The info was primarily aimed at R_1000, I think he is running a cat.
But in a more general comment the info here , especially the last bit regarding the close loop system of the ECU is interesting. I seems that disabling the O2 sensor would remove some significant benefits (IMO)
You pays your money and takes your choice.;):)

Didn't realise how complicated this can get

I ended up ordering some Spark plugs - TRIUMPH SPARK PLUG NGK CR8EK P/N T1290181

Now I am reading people are using CR9EK. Have I just purchased the wrong plugs???:(

I have already installed new OEM filter last week. This Friday Spark plugs. Then figure out the Tune ECU. I need to buy a cable.

    I just wanna ride;)

I am still stuck at work :(

I will check it when I get home probably another hour or so:rolleyes:. Hopefully I have ordered the correct ones. I will also need to check the tool kit to ensure everything is the correct kit. I have some sillicant lube for the rubber mounts when installing the airbox back. I don't think I want to use a torque wrench on these, so I will just hand tight. I shall crack on with it this Friday. Thank you buddy ;)

NGK plugs are numbered differently to others, higher numbers = colder plugs so if Triumph fit Champion or Bosch 9's then a 8 NGK will be ok :)

I must say I am surprised at the amount of fettling you have done. I'm sure you can ride it without all this if you want to

^^ Darkman....it's in my list to meet up with you for a blast ;-). I shall try doing just that before December :)

Problem is due to some family commitments I ended up blowing my holiday allowances :-(. I have 1.5 days left until 01.05.2017 :-(. I need to figure out a way.
