I saw white and I liked, but I think black is more beautiful.

An interesting question re riding position.
I had a open mind on whether to buy a Street Triple or a Speed Triple, so rode demonstrators of each of them on the same day from the same dealer. I found the Street more sit on and the Speed more sit in. Being 6’2” I wanted the sit in feeling to get out of the draught, so ended up with the Speed Triple RS.I have been riding Sports bikes for years so immediately noticed the lack of a fairing on long motorway sections which can get a bit draining, but the plus side is that this slows me down a bit which was part of the plan in buying a naked bike.
For me the riding position is absolutely perfect and I love the bike.

    I tried one today !!!!!

I have to say that is what I expected, a very equilibrated bike, and the position was very fine, as if was part of the bike, also was very easy to move on it for taking curves. It allows to use an attack position as if it was an R bike, but also a comfortable position if you are riding slowly and enjoying the view.

The engine is powerful but not in a mad way, its a very predictable engine. I tested it with the sport map.

The suspensions worked really great, stiff and comfortable at the same time (factory settings).

The dash and electronics are really great but I tried to focus on the machine as it and not to touch so many buttons =P

the problem is that I want one now ! :D

I didn't even test it befoe I bought it. I walked into my local dealership asked them all the financial questions, service intervals and general maintenance needs and said next time I walk through the door I'll have my jacket and helmet. He tried to get me to consider the Street Triple RS which I'm sure is a lil rip sorter in its own regards but couldn't pull myself away from the speed.

My riding position has changed. I don’t feel like I’m riding on it anymore, it’s more like I’m not even on it at all. Wait a minute, my bike has been in the shop for two weeks . Never mind.

You should have, as I was trying to be humorous without the bike to ride.

Tried an RS two days ago. Owner advised about that and felt once.

QS and brake problems on the RS... : unamused:

I haven’t heard of any brake problems with the bike. The inconsistent feel from the first pull to a instantaneous second pull is inconsistent, but has no adverse effect on braking.

I mean, I've felt that inconsistent braking on a few bikes with strong front brakes, my R1 does it. I'd say the real problem with the brakes is how squeeky /noisy they are.

I'm going to have to look into this 4th gear issue
